hound of Arthur. According to Nennius, when Arthur was pursuing the boar Troynt,
Cabal's footprint was left on a stone in Wales, which moved from its resting
place at night, always returning in the morning, and that Arthur erected a cairn
over it. Another story makes Cabal take part in the hunt for the boar
Ysgithyrwyn.
