Lythans
South Wales
South of Tinkinswood stands St. Lythans, also know as "Maes y Felin". In a field near the village of St. Nicholas, the earth mound that would have covered the stone sructure of this burial chamber originally has now been removed. Three upright stone slabs support the large capstone. The rear upright stone has a rounded "spirit" hole. During excavations of this site, cremated remains have been found.
