Ringmoor
Dartmoor, Southern England
Ringmoor consists of a cairn circle with a small kerb circle approx 260 yards the the NW.
The cairn circle is approx 41ft across and consists of eleven stones. In 1909 it was restored with five of the stones being taken from the moor to complete it. These rough stones surround a disrupted cairn (a characteristic combination for Dartmoor).
The kerb circle is small in comparison at approx 13ft across. It was believed to have been originally lined with about twenty stone slabs that had been sunk low in the earth.
