Fenworthy
The
27 stones that form this neat circle have survived to be in a very good
condition. The stones graduate in
height to the one stone that is large than the rest.
The largest stone stands at the south of the ring.
A few stones that are the remains of a stone row, run south from the
circle to the nearby forest track. Sited
in a clearing in the trees, the light colour of the stones stands prominent
against the trees.
Directions
Follow
Fenworthy Forest Road to the parking area at the end.
A forest track leads from here up into the forest.
The circle lies on the right hand side, approx. 500 metres along the
track.
