Cop
Stone, Thunderstone and Goggleby Stone
Cop Stone is a
megalithic standing stone approx. 5ft high.
Enclosed by a slight bank, much of the bank has disappeared over the
years.
Nearby
in the area is The Thunderstone which is situated in a large field close to a
farm. South east of the
Thunderstone is the Goggleby Stone, which can be accessed through a gate which
is approx 100 metres west of the King's Arms Inn.
