St. Govan's Chapel

South West Wales

St. Govan is said by some to be Gawain, Arthur's nephew and first knight.  After many battles he spent the rest of his life here in prayer.  The tiny stone chapel is located at the foot of a cliff.  There is a Celtic charm on the steps that take you down into the chapel - you will not count the same number of steps going down as going back up.
