Here is the rock indented with the hoof print of Arthur's horse. The horse is said to have carried Arthur to safety from here to the other side of the Dyfi estuary when pursued by his enemies. Dowsing for leys or spirit paths here does reveal a ley going to Bedd Taliesin, the grave of Taliesin, above Tre'r Ddoll. Arthur is also said to have slain a monster called an "Afanc" from the nearby Llyn Barfog.
